Your baby probably has the hiccups.

More than likely it is the baby having hiccups! I get it all the time, I actually find it soothing and it makes me want to sleep!

You have a large vessel - the aorta - in the lower abdomen that pulses in beat with your heart, just like any other artery. Most people, you can't see it. If you tend to be on the slender side and lay flat, you can see it pulse in some people. I can see/feel mine pulse when I lay down. I was also able to see my belly pulse when I was pregnant. Simply had to d with body shape. If it worries you, bring it up to your OB.

I am 27 weeks too! When I touch my belly I feel my own heartbeat in my belly and my fingertips so sometimes I find it hard to tell. Often if I lay on my side in the bed and just focus on my belly I can really tell the difference..; My son finally started kicking strong enough that my husband can feel him now. Good luck!

Probably the baby's heartbeat. If you're worried, mention it to your doctor. Good Luck!
