It's very possible that you could have broken your hymen with a tampon because it's a common misconception about how far back the hymen actually is.
The term virginity refers to having sex.
A torn hymen doesn't mean that you lost your virginity, it simply means that having sex for the first time was probably a little less painful.

NO! It does not take your virginity. A tampon often isn't sufficiently enormous to break a females hymen. in case you stick a penis up there, then confident. this could properly be a delusion that some mothers made whilst tampons first got here out to deter their daughters from using tampons. with the aid of fact the cost of a females hymen grow to be valued back then, they made it appear like a tampon will wreck a females hymen, whilst it often won't with the aid of fact many women haven't any hymen at delivery or have broken there hymen via activities and different non sexual intercourse's. The hymen isn't the substantial area of virginity, even even though it grow to be as quickly as believed to have been a definite sign of a females being a virgin. even although we now understand that it rather isn't actual. Having a broken hymen does not adult males your no longer a virgin anymore. Having intercourse with a boyfriend or guy makes you now no longer a virgin. wish this helps

Definition of Virginity or to lose that it is to be active in sexual intercourse for the first time with a penis entering the vagina.

Virginity is by definition lost only when you have sex for the first time. Your hymen can break before you have sex from any number of things, but that doesn't make you not a virgin if you haven't had sex.
