After a State or Province, depending the country you're looking at its bad. As a city-name that is a tad differant however. They can be used most times I would think.

Overall however I would still stick to the normal "Person" name such as Peter, John, Janet, & Sarah ect...

It's always a bit dumb to call a child after a place ( in my opinion), there are so many "people's" names out there...

Yes! It's a friggin STATE!!! It's a horrible name for a person, just like Alabama. The poor kid is gonna have to live with it the rest of his/her life and will probably end up being teased, so it's a bad idea to name your kid that. I have seen worse though. ***cough***Moxie Crimefighter***cough***

Well, ppl name their little ones after cities and states all the time; afterall way back when these places were first named after someone to begin with.
