Air in motion is called wind and reversal of ocean current causes El Nono.
To be more specific, absence or weak trade winds cause El Nino. This is further explained below.
El Nino is a periodic reversal of Pacific ocean currents. In a normal year, currents flow west, driven by the trade winds. In an El Nino year, the trade winds fail and warm water drifts back eastwards towards Peru.
So,El Nino will be there if there is no trade wind.

Well...............not sure, but
el nino is a certain type of wind brought on by the currents in the ocean. El nino brings a warmer climate to the east coast because it draws the warmer ocean current farther north from South America & Africa to the USA & Britian.
Wind is wind regardless of where it originates.
There is an el nina too.....not sure of the difference.
Google them.

Wind is a difference in air pressure that causes it to move.El nino is an upwelling of ocean water from deep currents that brings large amount of nutrients and cold water to the normally warm top region of the ocean.

considering you're asking in "climate" - It refers back to the climate types that relatively shrink to rubble our seasons with El Nino being the worse (the Sana Anna winds, warm & dry). on a similar time as l. a. Nina is blamed for interior the years that are much less severe.
