Can someone tell me their opinions on the book The City of Ember and any sequals to it? Is it worth buying? Also, can you please give me some good book suggestions for a fantasy lover? Thanks in advance

The City Of Ember, and its sequal The People Of Sparks are excellent books. The main characters are children, and there is no adult content, but that does not mean the books are childish. The stories are about a group of people who have been living underground for 200 years. Of how they escape their doomed city, and discover the outside world. The characters and stories are interesting. Although these are good books for young teens, I found them entertaining, and I'm 55.

In a completely different direction, I recommend 9 books by Jim Butcher, collectively known as The Dresden Files. The books (in order) are: Storm Front, Fool Moon, Grave Peril, Summer Knight, Death Mask, Blood Rites, Dead Beat, Proven Guilty, and White Knight.

They are fantasy about a wizard, Harry Dresden, who lives in Chicago, IL. This is our world, but one where the supernatural hides in every shadow. Harry tries to keep the worst of that world from intruding on the world we average mortals inhabit. The first couple of books are a little rough, but the stories are exciting, the characters engaging, and it all just keeps getting better.

I learn the guide not too long ago and I consider this is a well guide. I have not learn "The People of Sparks" or "The Prophet of Yonwood" but. Those are the moment and 3rd books of the sequence. They are popping out with a "City of Ember" film this October.

Go to Amazon.com and search:
"Lost from Atlantis Book 1" - Book 2 is going to be out in the next 6 weeks or so, Book 3 is written and in editing and will be out sometime in the next few months.
"Death by MURDER David Lindsay" - you have to search that way or it won't come up. There's lots of sex in that one.
"Super Spaghetti"
And the best part is, for now, they're all FREE. You can read them with Kindle Unlimited - if you don't have Kindle Unlimited Google how to get a free trial, and all those books are free. They can be read online, with a free Kindle phone app, or on a Kindle.

I LOVE the book the City of Ember and its sequels. Really good books..

Fantasy? Try Eragon and Eldest if you haven't already and the Xanth series by Piers Anthony.

The books are fun, and very different. They are aimed at young teens, with main characters of about 14.

Try http://www.unshelved.com/bookclub.aspx as a fun set of book talks, in comic form.

It is easier if you name some books you like. Just shooting randomly, try books by Diane Duane (Wizard series) and Tamora Pierce (Allana series).
