I know your exhaust gets real hot. So it would have to be something that could withstand the heat. I know the stuff that came out of it was wierd, honeycomb type, porcelin, brittle stuff. I dont know what that stuff was, but does it come in anything else besides a catalytic converter?

Try steel wool.
I think that is your best bet for a temprary rig job.

The cat doesn't filter anything. It reacts with the unburned gas. That honeycomb is coated with platinum, paladium, and rhodium--rare earth metals. There's nothing else that can do that. Face it, you have to buy a new cat.

No alternative but to buy a new catalytic converter. Rather than buy a factory replacement, there may be aftermarket units available at a much lower cost. Find a repair shop who will work with you to find one.

Feed your cat food that will not cause "emissions"! Oh, you meant car, take your car to Midas or some other muffler place. Repacking a catalytic converter is not a good idea, and may be illegal!

No, there isn't. Did some idiot convince you that you could increase flow and save gas by gutting the CAT? If so you need to take a nice sharp knife to that persons privates. lol
