i really want to like the show paranormal state but i just cant get attached to it. i seem to like ghost hunters a whole lot more. can someone help me to try and like it?

Why would you want to try to like something you don't like? It's a TV show, not vegetables. If you don't like it, then it's a *bad* TV show, so just see it as that.
Why would you wish to be coerced into liking a bad show? The only reason I can think of is because you are really into the paranormal and you want all paranormal shows to be good.

no because the show is bogus and a rip off of ghost hunters with most haunted mixed in. The voice recording is akin to the world scariest places, an old show from the late 90s to the early 2000s. Why force yourself to like anything

wow you and I are alike I kind of have the same problem but I decided if I keep watching paranormal state more I guess I'll like it and it work and if you still not attached to it you could still watch ghost hunters (I'm a big fan)

Hey countryg don't diss ghost hunters,it takes alot of guts to sit in a pitch black haunted room at 3 in the morning,like to see you stick it out,i have been in cellars,ruins,castles etc I have also spent the night in the U.ks most haunted place with just 2 other people.why?because i enjoy it and i am proud of it,its people like me that will one day get the evidence that ghosts really do exist.

I agree with Mr. Therapy. The show is boring and sux! I thought I would like it, tried to watch it twice, but ended up falling asleep. I like Ghost Hunters and TAPS much better . . .It just seems stupid to me, too.

I know what you mean, but I don't care for ghost hunters. I think that they add way to much to the story and to me, it doesn't seem real. Only real life experiences convince me.

I want to like it too. I saw the main guy for about 5 minutes on Red Eye...(and awful show itself...was channel surfing). He seemed really nice and I got to liking him in that short time. I think if he..and the others ..made more personal experiences and talked about themselves and made themselves REAL to us...we'd learn to get familiar with them and end up watching the show to see THEM. We'd be kinda "participants" with them...kinda like "paranormal family". If one of you on paranormal section here had a show..I think we'd all like it just because we "knew" you . (although we don't really). Just think of them as one of us..an amateur..just starting out in something all of us on this section are interested in. (Oops...MOST of us are interested in)OK? Let's give them a break!!!

Same here. I just discovered the show last week. My way is to put myself in someones shoes, and also to daydream about it. Like me going off and doing paranormal investigations...I'm planning to do that one day, too.

I KNOW!! im psychic so i feel like i should like it, but i don't get it...it doesn't click...its boring to me. i thought i was weird for it. I mean, i guess theres nothing for us to do...maybe just watch it some more and see how it goes? i don't know..i just dont watch it..Ghost hunters ROCK!!
