Look for those things that don't make sense or add up. Like when you know one thing and they say it was another.
When they get angry when you ask a question, however innocent the question is.
When they saying one thing one day and the opposite another.
When they have too many details for a simple question, like why were you late, and instead of saying "Traffic jam" they give you a whole spiel about directions, diversions, and everything else.
A poor lier won't look you in the eye, they will tend to look down, but with the professional or habitual lier, you can't tell.
Listen to others too. If they tell you something different from what he does, you have to question the difference.
But sometimes you just have to go with your gut feelings.

One thing about a liar they most times can't remember telling the lie the first time. They will tell the story a different way the next time.

The important thing is to not hurry when evaluating , take your time the lie will try to hurry so slow the role if it's a lie it gots to hurry , it just gots to , they want this subject to change they don't care where it goes but somewhere anywhere but hurry hurry we got to get there , and anger could show up if too much time is involved in one spot they'll be mad at YOU like it's your falt that their story isn't making sence..

One big thing, unless they are a professional liar, they wont look you in the eye while they are lying.

I think a person that lies will always be inconsistent. Will often point the finger at you for misunderstanding the situation.

I get a gut feeling. It may sound dumb but I have always known when my boyfriend was lying to me. Trust your gut.
