Yes I'd do anything possible to help others around me,
Life is for sharing and it's also for growing as a person too.

Thank you :)
Helping others makes me smile.

Yes, without question and without concern over whether the total stranger is in desperate need or not. Why am I so unselfish when I absolutely cannot afford my last quid? It's because I'm SELFISH and looking after Number One.

Almost every time I go far out of my way - including holding up traffic on a busy thoroughfare to give what I can to a pathetic-looking vagrant - it all comes back to me TENFOLD.

I know the reasons for this, but it's kinda complicated to talk about neuropsychological phenomena without sounding uppity.

I think I would, just last week some woman came running up to my car window in a parking lot, with a tale of being out of gas and her sister was in the hospital having a baby, she had to get to see her that night. I don't know if I totally believed her story but I gave her my last $5 I had on me, although I knew I could get more the next day when I had my bank card, so that is a bit different.

I do it all the time. A guy just accosted me on my way home from Walgreens, saying he needed $2.50 more to buy diapers, because he just got laid off last week. Then as I was walking home, I saw him walk around the building and hand money to 2 other guys! So I doubt diapers was what he needed.

Not my last pound (I don't have any of those), but, yes, I would give my last dollar, because I can always earn another... I would also ask that stranger's name and remember him/her in my prayers, too...

Not just would, I have given a stranger my last $ before. Of course it was the day before payday so I can't be too proud of it.

Yes I would... but would wonder what they did with it or if they were taking the mickey out of us folk with a heart. I find it easier to give £1 than to say no - at least I can sleep at night.

Yes I have done it before now, it was freezing cold and this poor homeless fella needed a drink, so I gave him my last two pounds.

If you gave your last pound for a person who truely needed it, wouldn't you now be in the same position and need it also?
split it if they're that important.

Yes, 1 pound wouldn't do me much good. It's not even enough for the bus fare anywhere. If they were desperate for it presumably they could think of a greater need for it.
