Pounds and US Dollars?

Does anyone know how to convert pounds to US dollars. If so can someone explain it to me in laymen terms. Thanks!

Multiply the number of pounds by two and you will be very close.

They change all the time I think it might be hourly
you can do a yahoo search
exchange rate
Pounds into dollars

Go to an airport. Go to the currency exchange thingy. Get US dollars.
