hi. nothing special. UNLESS you are naming after someone, like a parent's surname, or a grandmother's family (don't say maiden) name. Then it has pizaz

Lang looks like a last name, or a company name to me

If you like Lang for a name, than it's prefect

I've seen Lang as a last name, never as a first name. I don't think it would be too bad. It reminds me of Lane

Is the child Chinese? Honestly though, it sounds like a last name, not something i would give to a child as a first name.
