Peppermint tea with sugar and milk didn't help?
I masturbated without soporific result?
Mantra meditation while lying down and deep-breathing left me feeling flat?
An eyeball bashing with a good book left me filling in time?
The all-night news services on the radio, keep reading, listen to music, twiddle my thumbs, mutter insane inanities, stare at the walls, go visit the bats in the local park, come home feeling shagged out, eat, and wait for the Sandman to come............

Well I usually just lie and bed
and look up at the cieling...
other than that, I heard that if you get
up, and do a few jumping jacks,
without turning on any electronics, lights,
because light makes your brain think
that it's light outside and you should be awake.
