My father in law just shocked me telling me is going to have his neck done + botox on his eyes lines.
He is 70 years old is that normal?

For the sake of cosmetics only, plastic surgery is out of control. Doctors are performing plastic surgery and getting rich on cosmetic reasons only even if the patient does not really need plastic surgery. (There are serious risks involved).
I personally know friends who had a nose job and died on the operating table from the anesthesia, before the actual surgery ever started.
If you have a major trauma, yes then plastic surgery is the way to go to help give you a quality life.

at 70 you should learn not to obsess over looks and go under the needle or knife. people only talk about the good side of plastic surgery heres the bad side
boob job- in 10 years they deflat and get nasty, or after surgery they may pop internally and u have to pay for a whole new set.
bowtox- cant show expressions good
lypo- gain new fat back easily

A lot of people get it done so I guess it is normal, but in my opinion unless you were in a car accident or something where you really need plastic surgery then it is just vain. I don't think people should spend so much money just to be fake, but then again it makes them happy.

I think at the age of 70 nobody cares too much but to spend that kind of money when you are that old doesn't make sense to me sorry

I don't think it is worth the risks...(complications, the anesthesia, etc.) People should be satisfied with what they have/look like, and realize that what they may consider a 'flaw', can be quite attractive and authentic to others.

never of getting the neck done...... weird.

sounds "normal," sure.
i think plastic surgery is best for people who NEED it. .... reconstructive-- then cosmetic. but for people who just want it for vanity reasons.... i dont know. ... it does uplift spirt, doesnt it?
