What part should I aim for in Music Man Jr.?

I am really not sure what part I should aim for in Music Man Jr. I think I am a good singer, but I don't take lessons and I have trouble singing the high notes (I am not aiming for Marian). I am good at learning a lot of lines and I love playing "extreme" characters, like if they very angry or peppy (I can handle most emotions). I would like a solo in singing or dancing, and I don't want a minor part that only appears in the show once, I want to push myself and get a good role in this musical. What part do you recommend for me? (I am a girl)

I recommend you tryout for all the parts and no one part in particular. The directors do not want someone to tryout who only wants to do one part and if they cast her otherwise she will not do the show.
