It is where we learn to avoid misogynists like the plague.

No, that's just a place where they can learn that they can do other things in their lives besides cleaning up after and caring for able bodied individuals who are quite capable of doing those things themselves. I don't need to take care of my husband. He's quite able to feed, dress, and bathe himself and he would probably resent being treated like an invalid if I were to do all those things for him.

Cooking and cleaning don't seem to be common topics of conversation in this section of Yahoo! Answers--unless you're speaking metaphorically somehow.

There are cooking and cleaning sections elsewhere in Yahoo! Answers in which many women (men too) have well contributed to the answers there.

Nope. My dad started teaching me to cook when I was just 9 years old. As for cleaning house, my brothers and I were expected to clean from a young age as well.

no, its where we learn that people should be free and have a right to make decisions, no matter which gender they are. its really sad when the society tells us what you should do with your gender.

No, it's where we learn that women are capable of more than cooking and cleaning.

I resent that Rio! I am a stay at home mom and I love it! I cook and clean all day as well as take excellent care of my man. Just because its not the ideal life for everyone doesn't mean its beneath everything else a woman could be doing!
