Zep was more adventerous with their music than the Stones ever were. Yet, the Stones are still playing. But, have they really made anything of note in the last 15 or more years? I don't think so. This is apples and oranges. The Stones were the alter ego Beatles. Led Zep was the same for bands like Genesis, Rush, and Blue Oyster Cult. Concept bands. More hits? Stones. More talent? Zep, hands down. Better vocals, better rhythm section and much more complex and meaningful music. Zeppelin wins heads up.

I like them both almost equally....but if pinned down I would go with Led Zeppelin.
