Yes. Everything Bush and Cheney do is either a power grab or a money grab. Especially their illegal, immoral war.-

IMO yes. I suspect the people in the Bush administration rationalize it to themselves as for the good of America (conveniently enough)
My fantasy is Dick Cheney speaking to a policy group, saying that the Roman republic had to give way to rule by Emperor and the case is the same here.
If we let 'em get away with it, we have only ourselves to blame.
I truly worry about leaving their expanded powers as a legacy to future Presidents. This gang was so visibly incompetent and dishonest, they discredited themselves before they could get a full blown monarchy or dictatorship.
Future president(s) inclined to expand the Executive branch and blow our Constitutional system of checks and balances to hell will PROBABLY be smarter and more successful in doing so, particularly in this era of perpetual war. The time to draw the line is yesterday.
This is an issue around which people of every political persuasion who believe in the Constitution could unite, IMO, but I'm not optimistic. Our political process seems to be reduced to personality-based marketing campaigns built around branding. Upholding the Constitution doesn't get much play, even if the Prez does swear an oath to do so. Fascism ho, you hos!

Yes. Bush's stated desire to get away from all the bureaucracy and make the decisions all himself is basically a wish to be dictator/king. It's one of the unfortunate side effects of democracy that there are a lot of people who need to vote and OK decisions. Frustrating, but the alternative is totalitarianism.

Absolutely. Criminal Bush and Cheney need a power to take total control over American people in order to achieve their evil and criminal goals.

Absolutely. And it is not Bush's alone. It needs to be squashed, thank goodness only a little over a year left.

your question has no answer as its unclear what your rant refers to. im not that good at pelosi speak but from the looks of it, your inferring executive privleledge. if thats the case thats a constitutional check and balance installed for both liberal and conservative persidents. as a side, i think its priceless that conservatives need to be ..."understanding" with the types of constitutional rule bending of a clinton..but if you dont like bush...WATCH OUT....lmfao.
