Take a wild guess...could it be Achilles

An Achilles’ heel is a fatal weakness in spite of overall strength, actually or potentially leading to downfall. While the mythological origin refers to a physical vulnerability, metaphorical references to other attributes or qualities that can lead to their downfall are common.

According to a myth arising later, his mother, Thetis, had dipped the infant Achilles in the river Styx, holding onto him by his heel, and he became invulnerable where the waters touched him -- that is, everywhere but the areas covered by her thumb and forefinger -- implying that only a heel wound could have been his downfall. Another version of Achilles becoming close to immortal involves Thetis' attempt to make him a god. She would rub his whole body with ambrosia and then hold him over a fire every night. She held him by his heel, which is why that part of his body was vulnerable. One day, Achilles' father, Peleus, came in the home and caught Thetis holding Achilles over the fire. Peleus did not know that Thetis was trying to immortalize Achilles. Thetis was scared and fled out of fear. This possibly coincides with the story that Thetis left Achilles at a very young age.

1, Triple H 2, Ric Flair 3, Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase 4, Randy Savage 5, Mr Perfect 6, Chris Jericho 7, Kurt Angle(would be higher but was mostly a comedy heel) 8, Shawn Michaels 9, Hollywood Hulk Hogan 10, Randy Orton this is by no means in order of great wrestlers, just how good they were at being heel, for example Randy Savage I thought was a better wrestler than flair and he would have been number 1 but his heel run wasn't very long

Strangely enough, it is named after Achilles' heel.

In Greek mythology, Achilles was a Greek hero of the Trojan War, the central character and greatest warrior of Homer's Iliad, which takes for its theme the Wrath of Achilles. He embodies the archetype of the flawed hero, his defect being his pride, symbolized by his vulnerable heel.

When Achilles was born Thetis tried to make him immortal by dipping him in the river Styx. However, she forgot to wet the heel she held him by, leaving him vulnerable at that spot. He was shot with an arrow in that heel.

Achilles. He was a greek hero of the trojan war. He was a great warrior.

Legends state that Achilles was killed in battle by an arrow to the heel, and so an "Achilles' heel" has come to mean a person's principal weakness.

It was named after Achilles' heel. According to mythology, Achilles' mother held him upside down by his heel and dipped him into the River Styx to give him immunity to wounds; he was protected wherever the water touched, so his only vulnerability was his heel.
