Think about it:

the redskins lose to the cowboys, their biggest rival, but squeak into the playoffs as a 6th seed due to losses by the Vikings and the Saints. they advance to the super bowl winning all three playoff games by a combined margin of 7 points.

the patriots continue to win and run up the score, and enter the super bowl at 18-0.

wouldnt that just be the best way for the redskins to avenge Sean Taylor?

NOTE: I AM NOT SAYING THIS WILL HAPPEN THIS IS NOT A PREDICTION, IF YOU REALLY MUST KNOW, I'M PREDICTING A PITTSBURGH-DALLAS SUPERBOWL.

the question is whether or not you think this is worthy of hollywood.

that would be very surprising, but...

Packers vs Colts in SB.

The movie would sell....but only if they made Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Bill Bilichick acting they never really cared about Sean Taylor's Death and made the Patriots looked like the Greatest Team Ever.

Hmmm Steelers vs. Dallas Superbowl Matchup you say? Now listen, I was born in Pittsburgh and lived here my entire life...the Steelers havn't been that great. Trust me, the San Deigo Chargers have a better chance.

Well, they have not made a movie yet out of the Steelers improbable run to winning the Superbowl a couple of years ago.

I suppose the difference would be that they did not have a death. But they did have the Bus playing his final season and a Superbowl in his home town.

I would only change one thing about your scenario...The skins beat the Cowboys, then go on to the Superbowl.

Skins fan.

I think Pittsburgh making the Super Bowl is a bigger fantasy.

And I'm wth J Frisbee - pretty sure the Patriots didn't kill Sean Taylor - but they've been accused of everything else, so why not.

Yes, it would be a story....and it would be a great one especially if the Redskins were trailing during most of the Superbowl game and they came back in the 4th quarter to beat them by a field goal.

That my friend would be a story worth reading AND telling over and over again.

That would only avenge Sean Taylor if the guy that killed him played for the Patriots, or maybe was a Patriots fan.

That would only happen in a movie, though.

Good story. Definitely a better plot than that stupid Adam Sandler movie I wasted two hours on.

However, sometimes reality is better than any scripted movie.
