Ya, Jo-Jo is a no-no, let's see what else we can come up with shall we?
Let's see;
Dalton Taylor
Austin Joseph
Samuel (Sam for short) James
Adam Nathan
Nathan Samuel
Parker Micah
Nolan Xavier
Eric Nolan
Ashton Parker
Daniel Adam
Garret Louis
Jeremy Alexander
Any of these do it for you?

Seriously, I like to encourage people to do whatever they want but in this case that would be BAD! Think like a teenage boy harassing his buddies and pick a few things that rhyme with Jo-Jo & you wouldn't want that name either. I have a teen I've heard them! I read the question out loud to my family & they said it sounds like a circus animal name.
If you drop the e off Joe it looks like a girls name. I suggest name him Joe call him Jo-Jo in private only.
There are so many great names.
Joel
Joey
John or Jonny
Jeremy
Justin
James
Jim
Jules
Hope this helps.

Jo-Jo sounds like a female name really. my brother's middle name is Joseph. Joey for short. I think I've only heard him called Jo-Jo a couple of times and it was just by smaller childred saying his name in a baby talk way
If you like the Jo part, maybe consider Joey or Joseph for the more formal way.

Why not name him Jordan Joseph and call him Jo-Jo as a nickname? Jo-Jo would not be a good name on its own.

You're just asking for you're kid to hate you, aren't you? Jo-jo is a girl name, if you like the sound of it though, try naming him Joseph Jonothan or somethng similar so that you can call him that as a child but when hes older he'll have a name that people can respect him by.

Were you expecting a daughter, or what? Jo-Jo is not a name for a man, or even the smallest child. I recommend you name him Joseph, and then you can call him 'Jo-Jo' as a cutesy name.

Why Jo-Jo
Just Joseph is much better. If you really want to call him Jo-Jo why not give him Johnathan, or something like that, as a middle name.

Pleasssssssssse do not name your kid Jo-Jo, unless you have lots of money to pass down to him. Otherwise be realist. He will one day have to grow up and put that name on a job applications...a name can say a lot about your racial, social-economic status, which can consciously or unconsciously lead to discrimination. Name the kid something else and if you really want to call him Jo Jo let it be a family only kick name.

Oh, Lord. DO NOT NAME HIM JO-JO! He will kill himself at age 8 if you do. Jo-Jo to me sounds like a fat hippie fresh off a night of drugging...
How about:
Jason
Jackson
John
Tristen
Christian
Eric
Derek
Philip
Anything except Jo-Jo and Fart Brain.
Please.

Joey is a cute nickname, but jo-jo is really wrong, it sounds like a pets name...
Nice J names I can think of:
James or Jamess (pronounced Jame-ess, I think sounds soooo romantic)
Jonathon
Joss
Joshua
Joseph
Jeremy
Jay
Jai
Jack (love, love, love - so cute)
I don't mean to be a spoil sport but when I was having a baby a teacher friend told me boys with names starting with J's are the most disruptive kids.... I hope she was joking!!!
