Caribou:

The reindeer is known in North America as the caribou, but they are the same species, Rangifer tarandus.

Actually reindeer are smaller than caribou and reindeer are domestic or semi-domestic. I am not sure that they are considered the same species. In fact I did not believe they were but that is one of those things that would depend on the taxonomist anyways.
