Mine would be:
1) Do treat others as you would like to be treated.
2) Do treat others with civility and respect.
3) Do not insult fellow members by using ethnic, racial, phobic, etc. remarks that disrupt the harmony of the group.

Great responses everyone. Maybe we should print this list off after everyone contributes and post it next to our computer moniters.
Scooter, the thumbs down are from those that feel that have violated the rules that we have put together. Guilt does funny things to people!

I might also add that some people give thumbs down to those that they feel threatened by. They respond to a name and not an answer. By doing this they think that it makes them inferior to themselves. These are very insecure people that will continue to do this in an attempt to strengthen their own egos.

I agree with the Voice, those are some terrific answers you have. I'll also add:
1) If you don't like a question/ answer (other than the type you mentioned in # 3), move on.
2) Don't judge what others say by your life, you never know what they have been or are going through
3) As right as you think you ALWAYS are, recognize there may be others who know something too.

a million) do away with "defenseless receiver regulations." in case you do not wanna get hit, do not leap for the ball. 2) the entire Justin Forsett landing run that wasn't reviewed because of the fact Jim Schwartz threw the pink flag while he wasn't meant to. supply them the penalty, yet get the call proper first. 3) placed kickoffs returned on the 30. i'm bored with each kickoff being a ******* touchback.

Don't answer serious questions with rude, insulting, or profane remarks.
If you don't know the answer or have nothing to add, move on.
Be kind, civil and respectful
Also, give as many thumbs up as you can! Are you aware that for every thumbs up, if you get chosen as best answer, you get a point?

I do agree with your list and I have tried to abide by those rules. Those are the rules that I was brought up with and they extend to everyone that I come in contact with here in YA and everywhere else. I wish I could give you much more than one star, but here's the one I can give. Now .... thumbs up all around!

These are all terrific answers, the only thing that I would add is that all catagories should be as gracious and considerate as the Seniors.
Dang it, I keep having to give thumbs up to everyone to dispell those thumbs down! Join me, everyone!

I'm generally satisfied with the Yahoo QA guidelines as they're written by Yahoo. I'm not inclined to be instructed by anyone besides our hosts concerning how or what to post here.
However, I generally do try to respect others in my posts, though I've been known to do otherwise when I see the need.
I apologize to noone for any post I've made and I regret nothing.
Best to you
Jack

I don't like de-gradeing, racist, nor sexual inuendo's...but I do like humor at my own expence . Hey, men are pig's ! like me, women shop ! So what ? If you want to be serious all the time than join a group like the James Randi Group and we can discuss metaphysics, quantum math and quantum physics and it' relationship to Steven Hawkins expanding universe theory ( which he pointed out his error's 30 yr. later). As Joan River's would say ' Let's talk'
