I don't think that he will retire after this year, which has been one of his best seasons. Except in one scenario...

The Packers have an outside shot at winning the Super Bowl. If they could pull that off, I think Favre might like to go out as a champion.

Yes, Tom Brady will be back next year...Brett Favre will retire if the Packers win the Super Bowl...but since they will get there but lose to the Patriots, he'll be back...

The best QB in the game retired after his second Super Bowl win. He beat Favre in '97.

He might be funny looking, but John Elway was the man.

If the Pack win the Super Bowl there is no reason to come back, but if they don't he should come back because they now have a great running game with Ryan Grant and they are the second best team in the Mediocre J.V. league the NFC.

I think Favre's coming back. He's been phenominal, I don't know why he wouldn't. Maybe he'd retire if he WON the Superbowl, but the chances of that are slim.

there isnt any need for him to keep playing; he's broken all major records.

check to see who the packers draft: if they take a QB on day one, his playing days may be over.
