"If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be."
"Although we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers."
"I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in the District of Columbia are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."
"We don't think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That's true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such."
Is sugesting a sperate legal system for people of another race not rascism?

It's a racist attitude perpetuated and pushed by a very misguided philisophical point of view. I think Ron Paul is confused by his own libertarian points of view on how to handle the disenfranchized in our country. The man is very driven by the libertarian theories and points of view. This does not mean that libertarians are racist. However, It's obvious that the market is not the cure all for all the things that are ailing in our society. So as a result, he simple tows the easiest line possible and that is to go along with the dominant racist theory thrown out their by the mainstream media and mainstream thought. If he actually had to think about the issue of blacks being vulnerable in our culture to violence in terms of being the victims of it and the perpetrators of it, would mean that he would have to abandon his libertarian point of view on these issues and actually help do something about the 13 year old black teen age boy who has already got caught up with gangs with government funds for community, social and educational programs for at risk kids and job rehabilitation and training for the adults in these neighborhoods. Rather than do that he does the easy thing and think that this 13 year old has the adult mind of a 23 year old so he can have the excuse of locking the kid up and throwing away the key.
These comments, if held by Ron Paul, are just more reminders of finger pointing at problems in our society without any real efforts or possible ideas to solve them. These kind of comments hurt more than they inspire or try to solve.

Humanist is right - there is a lot of missing neo cons - they hate Ron Paul but are steering clear of this message
Here is a Cdn version of the same racist problem -
I the city I live there is a debate over all black schools - supported by some black persons some non black -
But what this says is that - Black children are fundementally different that white kids and therefore need to be taught seprately and diffrently than others -
No that isn't what they say out loud - but that is the message -
Now if the message was changed slightly to the school is failing and we the parents think we can do better Moms and dads of all races would jump on board and I wish that were the message -
What Ron Paul appears to be saying is that blacks are fundementally different than non blacks - wow
Go down through history and take a good hard long look at what white people were like in England 200 yrs ago when a huge under class existed in Londons streets - I bet that Oliver Twist a child pick pocket was every bit as dangerous as a black kid in the city of your choice
It really wasn't all that long ago when we were thinking Jews were fundementally different than us look into Shylocks speech Hath not a Jews eyes are we not warmed and cooled by the same summers and winter etc
But no no - lets just ignore the past and conclude that so and so is fundementally different than we are so we can treat them any way we want to
The warning being that sooner or later that group of fundementally different people might be you one day

He is even fighting so that all people in Washington DC can own and protect their homes. Right now it is illegal for a resident of DC to own a firearm, only criminals possess them.
Also Dr. Paul would like to do away with categorizing people into race, ethnic, sex distinctions as far as governement goes. Think of what different expectations of inner city Black males would change.
This topic has been the source of alot of discussion lately. Ask Bill Cosby. Black males in the USA have not had a great record of being upstanding citizens, but if we could honestly get some serious discussion going maybe there could be a brighter future and more hope for our inner city Black male citizens.Remember Dr. Paul is Hope for all of America.

Because all politicians are bought and paid for.we need to get rid of the problem. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate out there telling the truth. Racism is a problem, however, the remarks that you stated , in my opinion, are not actually racist. Those are actual statistics. Sorry if the truth hurts. Do your research; look up the Federal Reserve which is NOT part of the government. It is a privately owned cartel owned by the original families, Rothchilds, Rockefellers, Morgans, etc.. We allow them to lend us our own money and then we are contracted to pay back the interest on the National Debt. THEY created the IRS which also is NOT a part of the government. They run the world . Ever heard of the Tri Lateral Commission? Go to www.questweb.cc for starters. Go to www.realityzone.com and listen to "The Creature from Jekell Island" the truth about how the Federal Reserve got put into place. The truth is starting to make a difference to the American Public and they are realizing that WE Don’t HAVE TO PAY the IRS. That money only lines the pockets of the Federal Reserve OWNERS Last year, over 1 million People figured it out and did not file a 1040, they filed an annual statement. Did you know that if you file a 1040, you are stating that you live in the Virgin Islands and therefore agree to pay an income tax? All you need to do is file an annual statement and that's it. Did you know that the Real ID Act of 2005 became law and starting in 2008 ALL "citizens" must have a National ID. You will not be able to do anything without it. All your banking, medical, driving, etc. will be on it and it will have a chip imbedded in it to be able to track your every move, just like the passports already have. This is just one step closer to the "mark”. Do you think our economy was just poor loans restrictions and house in foreclosure was the result of bad loans?? Think again. I am a mortgage lender and I know the truth. Did you know that the loan documents state right on the Deed, assignment of rents. Did you know that NO ONE ever really OWNs their property; they are just renting it on a 99 year lease. Don't believe me, go look it up. It is public information. I fully expect Ron Paul to be assassinated because he is exposing the TRUTH and I pray for him every day. If you really understood why he wants our tops out of Iraq, you wouldn't question it. He has received more money then ANY other candidate from our Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Seamen. What does that tell you? They know what is really going on. Did you know that the name on you driver's license is no the real you? Ever heard on the straw man? The 2nd you, created by the Department of Commerce. Your name has been corrupted and changed to all caps, just like your corrupted birth certificate. Look and your driver's license, look at your bank statement, look at you credit cards, ALL in caps. When you were born, your ORIGINAL birth certificate was sent to the Dept. of Commerce and then the government and then they created a new birth certificate to create the 2nd you (straw man) and a bond was taken out in that corrupted all caps version and that is how you became a slave to the 1 million dollars a DAY interest that is added to the National Debt EVERY DAY!!!!!! People, wake up. Do your research!!!! Quit being sheep. Did you know that it is now law that ALL children in school must be evaluated for mental wellness? If your child and any child is found to be disruptive in class, it is NOW mandatory that they be DRUGGED!!!! These things were snuck in with the bill for money for Iraq. The Patriot Act was just a way to take away more of our rights. Now we have to be almost strip search and x-rayed every time we want to go on plane. Why did we let this happen? What kid has NEVER been disruptive at some point in time? That's why I love Ron Paul. He is the ONLY candidate telling the truth. He wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve and the IRS. If you want more information, send me an email kmck413@aol.com

It is certainly consistent if you see one of his main supporters/promoters is Alex 'blame the Mexicans, Chinese, Arabs, etc ' Jones - who incidentally one was of the biggest scare mongers when it came to the Y2K bug issue in 1999.
There is also an atavistic WASP anti-catholic nonsense in the (heavily infiltrated) 'truth' movement which needs to be marginalized.
There's more and more evidence that he's a staged candiate
while Gravel who is a much greater treat to the NWO is being ignored - even by the "alternative" media.

These statements were actually made by a fired staff member, not Congressman Paul. The only direct quotes by him are on his Congressional website, they appear to be opposing racism. Is it really that difficult to do a fact check instead of accepting rumor & innuendo?

Fact: Blacks commit more crimes.
I fail to see how those quotes are racist. Paul is NOT explaining how African-Americans should be treated as a result of these statistics, nor does he even elude to the fact they should work within a separate legal system, as you say.

Statistics do not lie.
Why does the welfare system not work? Ron's statements show you why.
Anyone who wants to be someone can make something of themselves.
