Check your dates and ask again. The United States did not exist at that time.
Don't forget to include denomination as well as the correct date. Diameter of the coin in millimeters would be nice to know, also.
These wouldn't happen to be Spanish colonial coins, would they? If so. we need to know the mint mark, which is either side of the date. Mo (o over M) is Mexico City.
If you have a one silver ounce silver eagle coin, these were not produced until 1986. In fact, any coin dated before 1792 that says United States of America on it is a fake.

www.pcgs.com will give you the value,,, are you sure they are real,,, tawain and china made a bunch of fake ones,,, if they are real they need to be graded and slabbed, they will be worth many dollars, the earliest us coins were 1793 that i know of and the dollar a few years after,,,,
