my spouse has asked his ex girlfriend to cancel life insurance policy as they are no longer to gather, however she refuses and she is listed as the benefactor. ex girf friend holds all policy info. spouse cannot remember name of insurance company.what does current wife do

if she pays the premiums then she can do what she wants. if it is his policy, he sets the beneficiary, not her.

He can take her to court and the judge will make her turn it over.
If you read her question correctly: His EX is listed as the beneficiary, not him, so it is HIS life insurance. He can consult with an attorney and have them write her a letter stating that if she doesn't turn over the paperwork that she will be taken to court and she will have to pay all court cost and send the letter certified so she has to sign that she received it. She has no right to be listed on his life insurance any longer. If the life insurance is through his employer or an ex-employer he can contact them to find out the name of the insurance company.

its the ex g/f's. she pays it she is the beny and there isnt anything the controlling wife can do about it. anybody can have a policy on anybody.
