I'm just wondering why are guys so protective of smaller girls? Becouse earlier today (I'm 15 btw) I was at a coffie shop with my mom & best-friend, & I was walking to the bathroom & this one guy just ran past me & pushed me to the ground. Then this other guy come's up & pushes the guy that pushed me to the ground & told him he better not do that to anybody ever again. I thought it was really sweet, this guy didn't even know me. Are all guys like this, & if so or you just protective of small girls (I'm 5'3 & 100 pounds btw), or all girls? Why?

Because girls are physically weaker than guys in general, it is an unwritten rule that you don't push,hit, or cause other malicious harm to girls so when someone crosses that line you have to stand up and defend the girl

Girls + Protective Guys= Potential Drama. Guys + Protective Girls= .. Well to me if I have a protective girlfriend and she is doing it involuntarily and it's cute then I am okay with it.. If she is like the following: "Don't you be touchin' my man(akin)!" Well then, we weren't even dating in the first place.

Because, it's how guys are wired. Ever since the dawn of time, males have been protecting us physically weaker females, so it's just hardwired into them. It's also called chivalry, and I always enjoy when a guy is nice enough to hold a door open, etc.

Not all guys are like that, but it's an instinct I guess. While I want to independent and not treated like a "girl" I love it too. It is so sweet!

because guys are bigger and stronger and are more capable of defending against another big guy, but i dont know if they feel as protctove of talller girls cos im small lol
people are protective towards kids and being small and child like makes people feel that way
