I have hazel eyes, I use both eye liner and eye shadow. I think just eyeliner is good if you're going for an easy look that just brightens you're eyes.

I usually do a "smokey" technique. In order to achieve the “smokey eyes” look you must select dark, neutral colors. Black eyeliner with gray eye shadow will work well for the smokey eyes appearance. First, line your eyes with a black eye liner pencil. Make sure you line both top and bottom paying close attention to lining around the natural eyelid contour. You can use concealer under your eyes with a thick coat of powder that will catch any excess eye shadow, which will later be brushed away so you don't get the dark colors under your eyes.

After you line your eyes carefully smudge the liner in the outer corners to soften the line. Then apply a thin line of black eye shadow over your eyeliner to further soften the look and create a stronger contrast. Next apply your eye shadow all over your eyelid, use a charcoal shadow or a neutral brown. Now top it off with black mascara and neutral lipstick and blush colors.

well considering that eye liner and eye shadow are two different things why don't you wear both? i have blue grey eyes, i always just go classic black eyeliner, but if you dont like that then do some greys and blues, not brown. and it also depends what your wearing, sometimes its better to match your eye shadow to what your wearing, but if you wear light blue or green eye shadow it'll make the blue in your eyes look darker. but when im at work i mix some browns with golds and bronze, cause it's casual and i have olive skin.

I have same colour eyes. For everyday natural look I use a dark brown eyeliner on the top of my lid only (CG Midnight Brown) and dark brown mascara only on my top lashes. For my eyelids I usually just take a bit of my blush colour (CG Natural Twinkle) and put it on my eyelids so they have a bit of colour but not too crazy. For night I like to use bronze and gold tones for my eyeshadow. For a really pretty night look you can also try plum tone eyeshadow with black eyeliner and mascara (the plum will bring out the green a lot). Hint: put a little bit of white eyeshadow at the inside corner of your eyes...it will make them look more open.

I think that a smokey blackish brown eyeliner looks great- but not too much. Also, a gold/brown eyeshadow on the eyelid adds spark to any look.
Tip: To make your eyes pop, put a dab of white in the crevasse between your nose and tear duct.

eyeliner is fine...I have no idea why people think it's awful looking. Just tone it down. Use brown, soft eye liners very close to your eye lashes. For Green eyes, I would recommend brown or purple eye shadows, with brown eye liner. And, never go without mascara...even if you're blessed with long eye lashes.

Why not both?
If you have to pick one or the other I would say eye liner, try a pale green or dark dark green, even a brown would look good ! Don't use black cuz it's way to dark! sorry I don't have time to add any pics. good luck though!

I would say eyeliner in a deep chocolate for contrast to your eyes. Lots of Black mascara really defines the lashline, causing your eyecolor to stand out.

im srry but i would have to say both because with those color of eyes you can do alot. I would go with smokey grey eye shadow and black eyeliner, but it has to be pencil and not liquid. hope i helped.
