Unless you're away from the 'cowboy scene', like in a big city, it's cool. I was country before country was cool, as the song goes.

There's nothing wrong with that, unless you're ignorant and closed-minded. Some guys are quite cute with the cowboy wear, however, I'm typically not attracted to that type, just every now and again.

It's only okay if he actually IS a cowboy or rides horses. I don't like it when guys only do it cause it looks hot. Actually BEING a cowboy is what makes it so hot for me.

While he's probably not a real cowboy, since, not too many are these days, he probably feels at least some sort of connection to the lifestyle...and if thats how he feels, then power to him for expressing himself

I liv in the panhandle of Texas in a small town. Cowboys r pretty common.

If he's a real cowboy (like a redneck/bikerish type) then that's cool with me. I know lots of rednecks, now they dont exactly wear a ten-gallon hat, but they have the boots, jeans, and cold beer in their hand lol.

When my dad died there were 6 cowboys all dressed in stetsons, and their Sunday best carrying his casket to lay it to rest.
