I didn't want anything for Christmas this year so all the gifts I received were bonuses and I was lucky enough to have money left over in my Christmas fund this year that I gave away.

Overall it was a great Christmas!

Yes and no. My sister got me a big boiler for dyeing stuff in, which I really wanted; and surprised me with a "how to" crochet book. Learning to crochet was one of my new years resolutions, so that was great! My partner bought me the latest Harry Potter dvd, which I was planning to buy myself; and a book on making Waldorf/Steiner dolls. I really, really wanted that, but he's lost it, so I haven't got it. It must be in the house somewhere, but it's so hot we can't be bothered looking!

The only thing I didn't give that I wanted to was a wooden toy train for my daughter. I just couldn't find the right one. I saw the perfect one last year, but my partner said I wasn't allowed to buy presents for people who weren't born yet. Party pooper. Maybe I'll find it for her birthday in April. I also couldn't give her the jewellery box I'm making. Not quite finished! She's only 8 months old, so she isn't concerned. To avoid this problem, I started my Christmas shopping yesterday.

i'm pretty simple....got more then I needed and well...you always want to give more then you gave but there's a limit right. So yes got all and gave all.
