Of course, I mean no disrespect to a very good Oklahoma squad (definately a top 5 team). I just happen to believe that WVU is a great deal better than most people think, and have a very good chance of winning. I don't want to start a riot. I just want to get a feel for how most people would respond if this did indeed take place.

Yes, Matt C., there is. Many experts, in fact, consider it the best bowl matchup of the season. I too was a sports writer and find it hard to believe that he would have no interest in the outcome. Unless, of course, he preferred field hockey to football.

OU is definately a top 5 team? are you kidding me? they lost to TWO unranked teams. if OU played in any other conference they wouldve lost 4 games this season. West Virginia will EASILY win this football game. the fact that OU jumped 5 spots in the polls after beating Missouri for the 2nd time is just another example of what a joke the polls are. what did we learn from the Big 12 Championship game that we didnt already know??? we already knew they were better than Missouri (which isnt saying much), the fact that they moved past USC, Virginia Tech and Georgia after beating a team they already beat was enough to convince me to NEVER pay any attention to the polls again. polls are nothing more then a popularity contest.

The best bowl games this year:
Title game.
Sugar Bowl.
And that bowl game with Florida and Michigan!
Fiesta bowl will be interesting but who really cares about WVU and OU at this point?
Rose Bowl....I'm just glad it's the early game so I can go to the beach then come home and watch the better bowls. Don't really care about the 'traditional grandpappy of'em all pac10vsbig10 boring matchup'.
Geaux Tigers!

i in my opinion enjoyed it. I graduated from the college of Texas, yet my total kinfolk (father and mother, cousins, aunts, uncles) all graduated from OU. each time they lose I win so i exchange into happy as heck to observe the humiliation. extremely of no longer showing as much as play as a results of fact they did no longer have a coach, WVU desperate on the sphere who their coach may be. OU is transforming into the Buffalo expenditures of the NCAA. It exchange right into a real spanking and a powerful activity. To the gentleman's remark (and that i exploit the term with prejudice): i did no longer prefer to pass to the college of Texas for the soccer group. I went there as a results of greater suitable academic training. i will have easily long gone to OU, yet did no longer prefer to. you besides might seem to have an extremely short (constrained) reminiscence in case you do no longer comprehend approximately all the "issues" that OU has had with the regulation and it extremely is numerous soccer communities for the duration of the years. keep dreaming approximately how stable OU is and don't trip once you get off the fast bus after college.

I like oklahoma, they should be playing for nat. title, they were the best team down the strech. Plus wv coach won't give a hoot, if he's there at all. I'm looking forwad to the game and the hawaii game and lsu osu game. Just to see if my views and etc. are correct. My team the wisconsin badgers have a very tough matchup with tenn., another team on a roll.

I don't really care. I guess I would be happy because everyone says they are going to lose. I cheer for the underdog most of the time. Unless the Underdog is playing Georgia.

I would feel terrible getting beat by a team who cant hold on to their west Virginia born and bred coach. I feel no disrespect, just dont hold it against us when you get jacked up on national tv again. Slaton and White are gonna wish they had gone with Rod to Michigan by the time this *** whippin is over.
