This is a sticky question. There is no solid proofing for the theory. Bakers are like everyone else - they want to have their cake and eat it, too. If they seem a little tart it's because they want people to be leaven them alone.

I think they are more prone to yeast infections than others; it's in'bred'! Or just an on the job's hazard.

They can if they do a lot of LOAFING, and they don't make enough DOUGH for the meds. If they don't make enough, they can always demand a RAISE.
