We are having a debate in my Debate Class in high school over the subject of Abortion.
I am Pro-Life and was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for websites to help fuel the debate.
I am hoping to recieve both views so I can be most educated on the subject and understand not only my own view but the view of those Pro-Choice as well.

I just had a debate on abortion as well, I was pro as well. Abortion is a tough issue because it really depends on your religious standpoint. It's almost a non-win situation, but if you have sufficient evidence and preparation, there is no doubt that you will win. Here are a couple websites where i obtained my information, hopefully they are of some use to you. They include both view points on abortion. Good luck (even though some say that if you say it you only make it worse, i really don't believe that because it's all superstition).

I am pro-choice because I own my body, not the government. Controlling one's reproduction is a sacred and ancient right, and women will always do it. The only difference would be that they would stagger into the emergency rooms with their intestines falling out their vaginas and later hemorrhage to death. This is what happened the last time abortion was illegal, and women were unable to have the procedure in a safe, clean environment.

Had my own mother not been able to end her own pregnancy, she wouldn't have been able to attend college, which is where she met my father. I wouldn't be here had Roe v. Wade not been decided the way it was.

There is no lack of information & opinion out there.
Here are just a few web-sites found by a search.
The Pro-Life argument comes down to a simple proposition:
"A unique new Human Life begins at the time of conception."
Doctors always used to take the Hippocratic Oath;-}
which stipulated that thyey would not perform abortions.
Choice for the woman, ends when she consents to sex.
That was the definition of marriage for centuries.
Offspring belong to a family, not just the mother.
