In answer to the poeple who suggest you go to an area a couple of tube stops away - don't try it. All areas a couple of miles around the stadium are now in parking zones, and are strictly residents parking only on event days - I live in Neasden, and I can assure you it wil be next to impossible to park in nearby areas. Wardens are out in force, and you wil be towed or clamped.
The stadium info service should be able to tell you about where the overflow parking is located. But I'd strongly suggest that you take public transport, which is now much better than before. All info is on the Wembley website.

Go by public transport which is frequent. Wembley Park Station on the Underground Metropolitan and Jubilee lines
