or do you think she could have helped the country???

Do you think she was assasinated for her corruption or b/c the men of the country were scared of her.

Just wanted to know everyones opinion

I don't know what to belive, because like Dave said, our press is so corrupt, and I don't know which parts are true

She was murdered by terroists (Islamic Jihadists) so that should tell you something right there. I am not sure what her doctrines would have been, but she had been threatened before on numerous occassions from what I've heard.

She made the mistake of having dealings with the Taliban earlier in her career... but it was rather unavoidable if she wanted to get in the game and make a difference.

She might have been corrupt as far as the Taliban is concerned but why would we care for their opinion?

Musharaf is the last person in the world who should ever point the corruption finger at anyone... How much money has Bush given him and what has he done for us in return aside from possibly strengthening the Taliban by only pretending to fight them?

No. The "charges" of corruption were never supported by any evidence--and were made by Musharaf, the dictator of Pakistan, to justify his military coup.

Bhutto was the best hope for a peaceful transition from the US-backed dictatorshiip of Musharaf to a restored democracy and a return of freedom in Pakistan. She was assassinated for one reason: she was succeeding.

It took courage for her to enter the political arena in Pakistan, again. She was a fine leader back in the 80's and would have been the country's salvation in the near future in present times. Men weren't as much scared of her as resentful of a woman rising to such a powerful position.
Also, we lost one of our few remaining allies in the Arab world. It's a fact in Islam, women are of less value. But its true in most religions, no female priests, women in Lutheran churches can't vote on church policy, just males can vote. A woman in Saudi Arabia would be better off never having been born (my personal opinion only). But they are treated as chattel. I really love America with all faults included.

She had been accused of corruption, but I have no data on how true those accusations might have been. I do think that she was seriously determined to try to help the country.

Living in the USA it's really hard to know any thing about other world leaders considering our controlled press we have here. See plenty of corruption here and don't really care about there.

She was killed because of her ideas, not because she was a women. The terrorists and the government feared her and so the government didn't protect her and the terrorists pulled the trigger.

yes she was corrupt she deposited money in Swiss accounts and was chased out twice but kept up her image and position to come back and get more.How do we know she wasn't on the side of Binladden in secret ticked off him for whatever reason so he had her killed?

She was currupt,she had been PM twice and did nothing except benifit herself and only her people.
