Do you love your wife? If so, it was worth it (But barely). If not, you got shafted.

No I don't feel you made a mistake. Fords are junk. You can also go 4 wheelin in the truck which is awesome. Check out got mud 4x4.com (link below). Also the Chevy will hold it's value longer than the Mustang (the mustang looks stock with no upgrades) as long as the chevy has 4 wheel drive. The 4 wheel drive alone 10 years down the road should make the truck worth at least 1,500 more than the Stang.

I probably would of keep the mustang, but the pick up looks nice to, and it has less of a chance of being stolen, because most prople would want a mustang over a pick up truck any day (unless you are a farmer or a country boy). But I would have kept the pickup.

The answer is , How much you need a pickup or not. My brothers 2006 gets 20 miles per gallon with , it looks like the same equipment . So if you need the truck it looks like a nice clean truck. That's the answer , do you need the truck?

Do you make the ultimate decision? I hope you both thoroughly discussed the pros and cons of having or not having each. I hope you don't plan on holding this over her head for the rest of your life.

Do you have children or plan on having children? If so, then the right decision was made. They are both nice. I prefer pick up trucks myself. I was never really into sporty cars. Everyone has their own preference. I know that I could not afford the insurance and plates on a sporty car.

Depends on what you and your family needs the vehicle for. The pickup truck seems more versatile/flexible in what you can do with it... but then again the Mustang is sure a good looker.

Your Chevy will run better, I promise. A mustang doesn't really do you any good, a truck is practical. If you want a mustang, buy a horse.

Maybe this is just your wife's way of saying that she is ready for a family. A mustang isn't really a family car. It sounds like she wants a BIG family.

I would have kept the mustang because it seems more fun. Perhaps your wife felt that the truck was more practical but I don't want to take side on this and get in the middle, causing a divorce.

i would have kept the mustang but the truck can come in handy when hauling things. but maybe there was a reason behind your wife wanting to get rid of the mustang.
