“They were 11 when Bush became president,” he often says of young voters. “Some don’t remember that a president can be articulate. They don’t remember that the federal government worked. And the saddest thing was that they don’t remember that our country was well respected around the world.”
- Al Franken

Bush has so much organic damage to his Brain from all those years of abusing Alcohol and Drugs...Look for another sudden onset of Alzheimer's like guy we elected in 1980!!

Stay the course only works for Bush and his cronies. They are making a mint off this war and it is being paid for by the blood of OUR children. Notice no one close to the president has signed up for service. Bush had a hand in taking down the twin towers. There is no way that it could have happened by accident that TWO..no make that THREE (including bldg. 7) could have fallen and not taken out other buildings. These buildings fell as if a demolition crew went in and set it up!

There was no reason that building 7 should have fallen. There were a few fires and that is it. These buildings are meant to withstand that type of thing. The designer of the twin towers even said, the building was built to withstand several airliners striking it. There was no reason they should have fallen like they did unless it was a planned event!

Bush's family are the ones who are benefiting from this war. Have you noticed how Bin Laden has not been captured but somehow, Saddam Hussein, who did not have any involvement in 9-11 is dead now? (not that I am supporting S.H.)

Bush used 9/11 to start a war, and it is time the American public noticed it and pulls out of the war. Muslims and other middle eastern countries are angry with the U.S. No wonder! Our president killed our own people and then blamed it on them. Then, he goes over there without proof or care and starts having the troops kill their people.

Bush is a bigger terrorist than any of the 9/11 hijackers. He has used terrorism to lead the masses into his own agenda and it's about time it stopped. ( I still can't believe that people voted for him after his first term- but then.... did you notice.... a nice little threat video showed up from the 'taliban?' right before the election. Think that was coincidental?)

I have to say that I agree with G-Man.

In the beginning (and even up until recently), it was looking bad as far as possible success goes. The 'liberal americans,' but more specifically the front running Democrats, based their major differences from Republicans on the War in Iraq. Sure, there's national health care, and the whole illegal immigrant/amnesty thing, but overall, Americans said they cared about the War in Iraq.

In recent days, turn arounds have been made. Now, these could be short lived; we won't know until the future. However, if these improvements hold and continue to grow, it could turn the Democrat's position of pulling out into a bad one, proving the Republican position correct. That would be a harsh political blow.

I never want people to shut up. Most everything must be heard.

But when people refuse to clean up after the mess they make, that is bad.
Without the US, there wasn't this much chaos in Iraq. Now that we're there, now that the initial balance was taken out, we need to 'fix what we broke.'

But then, the Democrat controlled Congress isn't fairing too well in the polls either.

Because it's NOT working, and his whole reasoning behind getting into this war is faulted. There are no WMD, and he is too scared/ashamed to back down and say he was wrong.

Considering he has the worst approval rating as a president ever, it's sad that he won't listen to his own country on what WE think. But the only good thing that will come from this is that we will have a democrat as a president soon.

What course? There is no plan.
And there were NO "weapons of mass destruction", either!
You know what's coming next?
Bringing back the draft.
Because our military is all used up, being deployed back and forth so many times.
How much more can our solders stand?
And our citizens are not volunteering to join the military as much now.
Why don't YOU sign up and go to Iraq, dude?

this isn't going to help your added comments but it is because liberal America needs the issue to have something to talk about. They sure have no accomplishments for a year of control of Congress.
and I disagree with Lionheart. The low for this country was when a past president committed perjury and admitted it and then expected us to elect his enabling wife as president.

Seriously, though. Read this. It's long, it's scary, and it's totally worth the read.
People from both sides of the political fence can see the truth in it.
Unless they are just plain stupid, or completely blinded by their political beliefs.
