What's a good movie that's about Greek mythology (i.e. Greek Gods Zeus, Ares, Athena etc), that actually looks realistic? Only one I know of is Clash of the Titans and it's cheesy.

Check out the SCIFI made movies like Jason and the Argonauts, Oddyseus. I'm sure there are more but that's all I can seem to remember. I know there is a movie made that captures the Illyiad too, but it's been a while and I can not remember it's name.

The only one I have seen was the old Jason and the Argonauts. Even though it is a 70's movie, it had some pretty neat effects. It is the only movie I can think of that I have seen that has the Greek gods and goddesses and which is not too bad. Some of the stuff actually looked computer-generated instead of looking like puppets.

Could try Elektra 1950 maybe 60's movie. Also there is The Odyssy starring Armand Assante. To find more could look for silent films at your local library if you have not already.

I always liked TV Hercules with Kevin Sorbo. Then there is Arnold Schwarzenegger's portrayal, classic. You should google the Arnie version it's a riot!

Hercules by Disney is childish and a cartoon but some parts are accurate. That's all I got, all the other ones I know are very old, fake, and hard to follow.

The ones I know are cheesier than that, but they were entertaining. "Jason and the Argonauts" comes to mind...look it up online to see what you think.
