She meant hope...geez ..anyways, I am not positive on the answer but I don't think you can ovulate while you are on period or it's highly unlike you are. Sorry. :-( I hope 2008 is a great year for you!

Hun I am guessing you have gone up to the highest dose of clomid, one side effect of it is unusual bleeding or spotting while taking it if your body doesn't agree with the drug, I would be calling your Gyno to make sure everything is ok, I know it is a weekend, but even call an ER just to make sure that it isn't a reaction to the drug. I found when I took clomid me periods were shorter and lighter, so you shouldn't still be bleeding now. Don't panic, just try and get some answers, everything may be fine, but be on the safe side.
Good luck

How long ago did you finish your last pill? If my math is correct you started your period the 16th and finished your pills about the 25th. It takes 7-10 days after you finish your last pill till you ovulate , so yes you might still ovulate. I would call your doc about your period lasting so long. Also start using OPK's soon so you know when you ovulate. Good luck.

i don't know what clomid is for i (antibiotic) didn't realy understand the question, well not familiar at all with your condition....
in some women yes it is possible to ovulate while on a mensturating.....though not terribly common....a woman i scottland had twins concieved three weeks apart, while on birth control, found the article on sfgate.com in the bondage file....that is just the area where they keep weird news of at newoftheweird.com wouldn't be able to tell you wich week.
there have been stories about women who become pregnant with twins by two different men.........again not something that happenns often by any means.
but short answer is yes.
