Because human anatomy works best if we are omnivores...that is why we have canine and incisor teeth.
I have had meat substitutes and I can assure you they DO NOT taste like the real thing.
To decrease the surplus bovine population, too. :) :) :)
Plus...it is delicious.

Humans have an innate desire to eat meat and I am not impervious to this. I don't equate the life of an animal with that of a human and believe killing one for food is justified and proper if done in a relatively painless manner (I'm avoiding using the word humane here because of my prior statement). There are substitutes like Quorn, but they taste nothing like real meat, and do not provide the same nourishment or wellbeing. Don't spin this in your head and think 'wellbeing from murder' - because a) that wasn't what I was implying and b) murder is a legal term for the killing of one human by another with no diminished responsibility. I also lived in a partly rural area (a town surrounded by farming and countryside) for a sizeable amount of my life, and am not blind like some urbanites may be to how dependent a large proportion of the country is to the meat industry. Believe me, we'd be screwed.
And the assertion that meat rots in the body is no more fatuous than saying vegetables rot in the body. From the mouth, to the stomach, to the intestines; all the right tools and enzymes are in place to break down meat - our bodies are designed to do it.

confident. I certainly have achieved that, I used to paintings on a farm the place we raised the animals, despatched them to slaughter, and then some days later they got here decrease back as meat to sell on the butchers. We have already got chickens at homestead that we use for the two the beef and eggs, and my boyfriend has suggested he'd get me some pigs while he finishes uni that we are going to advance up for food. We additionally enhance our very own veg, so we are finding out in simple terms somewhat self-sufficiency. i will comprehend your element although, i can not stand it while human beings will fortuitously purchase meat yet don't comprehend the place it comes from. i could some distance quite advance it myself, in simple terms so i be attentive to that i'm eating a healthful animal that had a superbly satisfied existence with me.

hehehe! maybe them frog legs of yours would be a treat to some meat eater .. noooo not me i know the bible states they are unclean.
well i actuality i dont eat that much flesh foods , i do eat occasionally a little bit of tuna. i havent had any chicken or turkey in maybe 6 months time.,
i am tring harder to eat healthy sky witch doesnt know anything about how we are created either,, our teeth for instance are not pointed andsharp like meat eating animals and all animals that eat meat all have just a short intestine,, this means whenever they eat they eliminate it quickly,, humans however have a small and alarge intestine, when meat is introduced into our system it may take 3 or more days to get through the large intestine down through the decending colan etc,,
now when u see that your food usually rots first before elimination when eating meats u would think it through more. most illnesses are derived first in the colon, it gets backed up aand poision in the blood spreads.. ask any one in forensic medicine! //bro.murray

Well I'm going to try cutting out mammals in the new year, though it's more the thought of bowel cancer than compassion. So fish and poultry from now on .(and possibly amphibians)
Quorn seems either bland or very salty.

Animal meat is just as good as vegetable meat.Even Quorn (which is edible fungus) is a meat of the fungus involved. All living things get eaten by something, who knows even we may be farmed on planet Earth and harvested by an alien race. There are millions of missing persons every year, makes yer think dunnit ?NICE ONE KERMIT.

If god didnt want us to eat animals, then he wouldnt have made them out of meat.
Mmm tasty.
Seriously,we are omnivores for a reason.
Meat is a valuable source of protein essential to growth. We cannot function without meat as healthily as we can with.Eventually, without meat,we we suffer various forms of malnutrition.
