No. Are you?

No, I don't believe he is. I am, however, feeling that he may have purposefully side-stepped some obvious facts that would have debunked his Global Warming effort. There are so many scientists and climatologists that are adamantly against him that he was bound to run into a few or a bunch before completing his film (if you've seen it).

Not at all; there's method to his seeming madness and monomania. Having failed to achieve his childhood goal of becoming President, he aspires to sainthood and has been so anointed by Hollywood and the Nobel Peace Prize committee and by millions who believed earlier in "the population bomb" and "global cooling".

Even if you buy the claim that there's evidence in the past few years ( I do not! )for anthropogenic global warming , check back and you'll see that Gore was shouting the same story years before this "new" evidence presented itself. He's a believer despite evidence and bears some resemblance to L. Ron Hubbard in having created a new kind of religion.

I think Al Gore has single handedly done more to make the world a better place than any other politician (as far as I know) ever has. He is an intelligent, articulate man that is passionate about raising awareness for a cause that effects every living thing on this planet. How exactly is that insane?

Taking into consideration that he is trying to convince us to do what he is obviously NOT doing to save the planet, I would say, he is just plain arrogant and believes we all are stupid.

Give the guy a break he just wants to pass global laws that will make him king of the world.

No, he's just telling ignorant people something they'd rather not hear! People like that are ALWAYS called "insane"...actually, anyone who THINKS he's insane is either just that...or terminally stupid!

Doubtful. While I disagree with many of his world views, he is still an intelligent and articulate proponent of his beliefs. I've seen no evidence to indicate he is insane, despite the fact the he is rich and naive.
