'losing your virginity' is usually taken to mean having sex.
However any kind of excercise, horseriding, gymnastics etc can cause the hymen to rupture (which is what happens the first time you have sex, if it hasnt already happened) Its not necessary to bleed, some people dont, but it does happen.
In the very olden days they would inspect the bedsheets on the day after the wedding to check for blood to prove that the bride was a virgin. In those days it really did matter.

There is nothing that can make you lose your virginity except having sex.
The blood is caused by damage to an internal membrane called the hymen. Not all women are born with a hymen, and the hymen can be damaged in lots of ways other than sex so there is not always blood. With or without a hymen a woman is still a virgin until a penis has entered her body.

You can only loose your virginity after penatrative sexual intercourse.
HOWEVER. The hymen (the bit that usualy breaks and bleeds when you have sex for the first time) can be naturally broken a number of ways. I broke mine through horseriding, but you can break it through splits, or rubbing too hard if you have an itch etc etc. When the hymen is broken it is not unusual for "first timers" to experience no discomfort - as the breaking of they hymen is the painful part of the first time.
The hymen can also grow back after a number of years as it is just flesh after all.

lots of things can cause a hymen to break and some girls are even born without one. Not having a hymen or having one that's already broken doesn't mean you're not a virgin. Only thing that can make you lose your virginity is a penis. Even if you stuck a cucumber in your vag and broke your hymen, you'd still be a virgin until a guy stuck his penis in you.

Oh god...so this is what sex ed has been reduced to for teens! Honey, losing your V means "having sex for the first time", "doing the splits" does not mean having sex.
Breaking the hymen is differnt to losing your virginity, why do girls not know this???
Not everyone bleeds when they lose their V, if your hymen's already gone, you won'y bleed, cos it's the breaking of the hymen that causes bleeding.

Well the hymen can break in many ways including through riding a bike, so the answer to your question is yes it's possible.
(You'd still be a virgin though).

You won't necessarily bleed or hurt the first time. But you are still a young girl.Just be a child .Don't worry about stuff like that. You have plenty of things to think about with out adding sex to the drama. And ,no,doing the splits will not do anything to you down there.Enjoy you childhood.

You don't always bleed and you can break the hymen riding a bike or horse, but that's not losing your virginity. That happens during sexual contact.

Its not your hymen breaking that makes you lose your virginity but its a mans penis that makes you lose your virginity. So even if you use tampons,or bleed after horse riding or during exercise it doesnt mean anything.
