what was your favourite ever tv moment or tv programme that involved slapstick like pies and gunge??

England getting knocked out of euro2008 - plenty of slapstick. Lol

No pies and gunge really, but the bit in Only Fools and Horses where Del Boy is trying to look cool for a woman and doesn't notice the bar has moved, so falls down.

Also, when they are moving houses for someone, Uncle Albert and Rodney are holding a cloth under a chandalier to catch it and Del Boy is unscrewing one from above. Cue horror when Rodney and Albert realise they are holding the cloth under the wrong chandalier...

Not exactly slapstick, but still physical comedy: The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson - the episode where Ed Ames threw the ax & hit the crotch of the target. Johnny's reaction and comments ("I didn't know you were Jewish") were priceless!! I've seen it dozens of times, and it still makes me laugh!! Carson was the ultimate!!

Welll Noels house party had slapstick and gunge if I remember ,But its not my type of humour ,It should stay in the Circus with the clowns

The scene from Father Ted where Ted walks in covered in sick - because Dougal threw up on him. XD
Or where Mrs Doyle, "in an unusual move", bakes a jumper into the cake.

It's all good with Father Ted.

So hard to answer....... The Germans from Fawlty Towers. Gareth Keenan invetigates from the office. Racheals mince pie from Friends. Most of Curb your Enthusiasm and The Mighty Boosh. Only Fools and Horses, Jolly Boys, Shooting stars doing the Irish jig....... it just goes on.
