Poor play from the offensive line following an excellent start to the season. The play of the offensive line is about 70% responsible for the success or failure of every single running or passing play. They have not blocked well enough for the running backs which puts them in a hole because on third and long the opponent's defense ignores any play action from Kitna and comes with all out pressure forcing him to be perfect.
Too many short drives exposes your defense. The Lion's defense is just about worn out by the fourth quarter while the opponent's defense is still fresh. You should check the points scored by and points given up differential for the Lions quarter by quarter. I bet their fourth quarter point differential is terrible.

Pathetic defense (Has the talent....lacks the motivation to finish strong......horrible secondary....Dre Bly was the only strong player in that secondary)
Lousy offensive line (Jon Kitna has become synonymous with the word "sack"....how is he going to make plays to his star receivers in Roy Williams, Mike Furrey, Calvin Johnson when his offensive line can't even hold back a single defensive lineman for 3 seconds)
No running game (Tatum Bell is injury prone and lacks drive.....Kevin Jones is good..TJ Duckett is good..no feature back.....no good blocking)

cause they went on a real bad run . . . . . they were 6-2 at the half of the season but after that, they were up to their neck in losses . . . . . i dont even know if they won a game after that.
