You want 32-bit High Color for the best results in Picture Quality. Years ago back in the day you only had 8-bit which at the time was okay, then 16-bit came along and then 24-bit where most system were at, but more memory gave us all 32-bit.

There is also 48-bit, 64-bit and 128-bit but you'll see those more in high end equipment. 24-bit color would give you 2.4 million colors and now with 32-bit color it's 1 billion colors. More colors you have the better the vivid look and feel of the image you have. Games would look more realy and images in 3D model would really stand out.

First, try changing the resolution to 1024 by 768. Look for 32-bit. If it isn't there then change the moniter at the top of display settings to a different one. If that doesn't work, your only option is to get a new moniter/w video card or a replacement video card.

32 bit true color is the best setting for highest resolution images.. it's all about the pixels.. colored squares make up a pixel. 16 bit per million or 32 bit per million.

Its just a easy way to explain a range of visible colors on a computer screen. Instead of saying something like 32,000,000 colors it'll say something like 24bit or true color.
