When answering a question,do you?????

usually just answer. of course, someone else almost always has answered it in the same way by the time my answer posts.....

I do both depending on the question. Sometimes, if it's a fun question, I just answer. If it is serious and I am not really sure of what the asker means, I will read other answers first and sometimes, I read answers to see if what I would have said is already there. ( usually when there are a lot of answers. )

It depends on the type of question. Sometimes I read first and other times I just answer.

I answer first but there has been a time or two I looked what other people say but when I do that I usually don't answer the question because I want to see what others put because I have no impute for the question

Depends on the question really. If it's on the serious side, I tend to read other answers, but if it's all in fun, I just go ahead and answer. Happy New Year to you !

I read other answers first. But then it takes me so darn long to type mine there's about 14 other answers to read by the time I'm done lol

if it's an opinion-based question, I read some answers first, but if it's a question where people are looking for facts, I just answer.

If I'm being asked for MY opinion:

Just answer.
Fire one off as a reflex. An instinctive reaction.

That way it's a RAW, GENUINE, UNEDITED OPINION.

If someone is asking a yes/no, T/F, or if there is only one right answer, I'll look to see if anyone else got it first. If not, then I'll answer.

If someone is trying to be funny and is soliciting a humorous response from me, then I'll look to see if anyone else thought of something. If I answer and scroll up to see the other answers and see that someone "beat me to the punch", I'll edit my answer.
