Oooh i saw that!!! Its shocking!! I had one for £130 from 3 once, because I had to phone them up about the faulty battery in 3 phone that was under warranty. They never let me off with it either until I threatened to go to the industry regulator.

Well I years ago got a bill for 1,217 myself, I let my big brother use the phone for a few weeks while I was on holiday. came back to the shock of the year with that. So now I just use pay as you go phones. I can see how that man got that nasty shock, every friday i get an sms from 3 saying get some football match live on your mobile. I think that is so silly why would i pay so much to watch a match on a screen less than two inchs.

Someone (a young boy about 18) I used to work with ran up a bill on his mobile for over £1500 for a month by downloading porn at night and falling asleep while still connected to the internet.

Surely thats not possible as they normally set 100 - 150 pound limit on the phone if you read the small print. How can anyone run up that much from downloading stuff. Just use the interent instead.
600 is some going too. Think mine was around 250 as used it on holiday loads

My son got a bill from Orange for £400 for 4 days abroad. They've tried to claim it was mostly from calls from a certain mobile number than rang him from England, when we asked the number, they gave mine. Now, I certainly did not call my son nor did he call me. Three times we have requested an itemised bill and despite assurances that one was on its way, 3 mths later we still haven't received it.
Needless to say, Orange won't get their money until they can prove these charges are justified.

My highest bill was £1.12 for 9 text messages at 14 pence each. That's with Orange PAYG, but as soon as the credit runs out I'm going to a cheaper PAYG network.
