Absolutely not! We almost never go out on New Year's Eve. What for?
Sure, I've done the drunken idiot thing on New Year's Eve. But eventually I realized... hey, I could be a drunken idiot any night of the year! What's so special about this one day? So I can be in better company with lots of other drunken idiots?
After enough miserable hours kneeling in front of a toilet, that grows old fast.
Now, most of the New Year's, we're in bed and half asleep already (...um... for good reason... wink-wink...)...
If one of us happens to wake up, we'll flip the TV on and watch the ball drop. Whoo hoo. Then we snuggle closer and give each other a "Happy New Year" kiss.
You're not a loser. You've just realized what a silly event it is.

I have no real plans....the early part of the evening will be spent with my parents, I think....but I am unsure how the rest of the night will look....I will probably spend it either listening to the radio or watching TV....or right here on Answers!

No you have lots of company a lot of people will be alone and some by choice Just too many drnks on the road and out every where.

I know how you feel. I have no pans either. I'm staying in, and watching some movies. I have to work half a day new years day. bummer !

don`t be sorry about it, if you don`t have plans for new year, is better to be sure what you want than fall in a cliche... be yourself and happy new year... you have 365 brand new days to do so

i dont' have any plans cuz originally i was supposed to go to a party but now its canceled so i am not gonna do anything!!

You will have to create your own Party, turn the music up log on to Y/A . Im sure their will be plenty on here.
