Step 1. Draw a circle with center O at P(0,0).
Let dr = a small change in radius.
Define Pi = A/(2R) => A = 2PiR

Integrate from R = 0 to R = R
the curve 2Pi int {Rdr}
= PiR^2 = Area of the circle

You know the radius = 8cm so A = Pi*(8)^2

But You know that A = PiR^2 so now you know that the radius is
8 cm

Fantastic!!!

Now C = 2piR

answer is 8*3.14*2

NICE!!

Very nice

C = 2*pi* r - remember this equation
Circumference (C) = 2 x 3.14(pi) x the radius.

C = 2 x pi x 8
C = 16 x pi
C = 16 x 3.14 = 50.26548246 cm
C = 50.27 cm (2 dp.)

Data:
r=8cm
c=2(3.14)(r)

math: c=2(3.14)(8)
c= 50.24 so we rounded to c= 50

Diameter equals to 2 times radius so . . .
the diameter is 2 times 8 which is 16

Then you multiply the diameter with 3.1415926 (pi)
you get: 50.24 cm

hope that helps!
