Make a side sum.:-
The factors of 5 are
5 x 1 = 5
Factors of 8 are
8 x 1 = 8
4 x 2 = 8

From these multiplies chose four numbers two from the bottom and two from the top; first multiply and then add to arrive at 22.
The four numbers are 5,4,2, & 1.
Multiply 5 x 4 = 20
& 2 x 1 = 2
Add 20 + 2 = 22
So the four numbers are 5,4,2& 1

(-5x + 2)(x - 4) = 0

-5x + 2 = 0
-5x = -2
x = -2/-5 = 2/5

& x - 4 = 0
x = 4
